Lines and wrinkles
Over time, normal ageing and damage from the environment (eg. sun, stress and smoking) cause skin to lose its ability to 'renew' itself properly. This results in the following changes:
-Slowing of the skin cell lifecycle - resulting in a thicker epidermis (superficial layer of dead cells), causing drier and uneven skin texture.
-Collagen and elastin fibres in the dermis provide skin texture and volume - these fibres begin to break down from around the age of 30, causing fine lines, wrinkles and folds to develop.
-Muscles underlying the facial skin are responsible for expression. Overactivity of such muscles (eg. frowning) wrinkles the skin further. This effect is more noticable with advancing age.
There is more to cosmetic treatments than the frozen forehead that the stars have
We may have read in the paper about people not being able to frown or express themselves due to too much Botox.
Here's some of the areas of our face that loose volume and therefore make us look age.

As we age there is a loss of the upwards turning of the corners of the mouth, making us look sad.
The area between our nose and our chin sages as we age, we sometimes call these our smile lines
You may have noticed small lines appearing above the lip or that you need to use more lip liner as the lip around your lip has gone
Have your lips gone thinner?
Dr Raj Acquilla can give you a subtle, natural-looking volume enhancement
CHIN AND JAWLINE
Our jawline looses its definition as we age.
The area either side of the chin called the pre-jowl can also look hollow as we age. Now we can stop the ageing process and even buy back some years with chin and jawline augmentation.
The results are very natural with very little downtime.
The corners of the eyes often produce more wrinkles as we get older. Injectable fillers can be used to reduce the appearance of lines at the corners of the eyes, commonly known as crow's feet.
Eyebrow and temple reshaping
The arch shape eyebrow we all aspire to getting.
THE ALMOND SHAPED EYE
A shape we desire to achieve when we add eyeliner into the corners using a small nike tick. By using Botox and Fillers we can lift the lateral part of the brow and subtly raises the eye to give the desired shape.
Tear trough - TIRED EYES
When we age and lose volume under the eyes, this hollowing is what gives us the black 'bags' under the eyes and can be very ageing. Using Botox and dermal fillers we can shorten the distance of the lower eyelid making you look more refreshed.

Youthful cheeks have more structure which makes them smooth and week-defined. As we age this youthful volume is lost so non invasive injections can restore that volume to give you a natural youthful look.
The lower part of our cheeks also tend to sage as we get older, which can lead to us looking more tired and unwell.
