| Genuine Dermaroller® is a recognised medical device which produces
thousands of microscopic needle columns into the dermis of the skin. Each
column is approximately 0.1mm wide and 1.5mm deep. This strategic damage
to skin stimulates a repair process, which includes new collagen formation

What does treatment with Dermaroller® involve?

- Skin cleaned and prepared with local anaesthetic cream for comfort
- Dermaroller® applied to the skin twice in 6 directions
- Skin looks sunburnt with tiny areas of pinpoint bleeding
- Chiroxy cream applied to skin to improve healing
- Any redness, warmth and tightness settles within 2-3hrs
- Skin must be cleansed gently for 48hrs until columns close
- Heliocare SPF 50 cream advised for 6 weeks after treatment
- Usually require 2-3 treatments at 6 weekly intervals
